LED-filled Gameboys

Me (nitro2k01) and Veqtor found two transparent Gameboys on a flea market a few weeks ago. And is there a better way to rape a transparent Gameboy, than filling it with LEDs? I don’t think so.
Did I say two? Yes, and here’s me and Veqtor with the two ledboys.

Veqtor to the left, and me, nitro2k01, to the right.
Do you guys have a tutorial for this? I want to do this so bad.

The two ones made so far have been works of impulse more or less. Which means we’ve just opened them up and done what’s needed. It requires some skill, both about the Gameboy’s internal and about electronics in general.
We’ll make another with blue LEDs if we can find another transparent GB. If/when we do, and provided I have a camera by then, we might post a tutorial.
But the problem with doing that is that there will always be whiners who haven’t got the needed tools/materials/skills/motivation/whatever and will go on about who they failed with the mode. That brings some responsability to us, and from that point of view it’s easier for us just to not release any information.

You could just have a disclaimer, then it would be at their own risk.

Hallo,
ganz schön mit den LED´s, nur wenn 2 Leute da ne Anleitung haben, warum ist das so schlecht umgesetzt worden mit dem Schalter??
Gruß Alex
