Hi, Veqtor here… I know it’s been quiet here for some time, I’ve been mainly posting stuff on my blog lately, Veqtor’s Corner. So what’s going on? Well, there’s another Analogik on the way and I’ve been collecting parts for my modular synthesizer, so far I have a Doepfer A-143-1, A-106-1 , Livewire AFG and on it’s way via UPS is a Tiptop Audio Z3000 and a Makenoise Moddemod!
Meanwhile I’ve been working on another iteration of the bitfreak ensemble for reaktor. It’s far more CPU efficient, and it doesn’t run into settings which doesn’t produce any sound. And that’s just the beginning.
I’m unsure as to if I should release it, or if I should wait until I have a Max4Live device ready.
As for OXO-Unlimited, we’re going to focus only on free releases in the future, at least for a couple of years or so, since I and nitro2k01 are both studying we simply can’t fund any physical releases for now.
And now, for some bad news, due to several differences in opinion, Mathtiiaas Rosén has left this label, it’s unfortunate that I couldn’t provide a platform for his releases which suited his requirements, but hey, that’s how it is. Our other, currently paid releases will actually become free, some artists on the OXO:001 album has asked not for their tracks to be released for free so those will not be available.
Cheers, Göran Sandström aka Veqtor
PS. We’re looking for hosting for our free releases, since our service provider is quite annoying when it comes to hosting files being downloaded regularly.
And here’s a little preview from my next full-lenght album:
How has the work on bitfreak progressed?
it will be released as a max4live device also, that’s what I can do for now. I tried cloning it in synthedit but it didn’t turn out welll.
